Gwyn has a wonderfully diverse site devoted to many fandoms--I recommend the Buffy/Spike of course and if you like Lizerrrbeathan style stuff, I think you'll like her. Poignant, clear images and well developed characters. This is fanfic as literature--can' t say enough good things about her work. Check it out for yourself.

Just go in and pick any fic at random and have a stimulating read. What a wonderful world we live in with such sites.

Here's a writer, who spins, spins one amazing tale after another in the best tradtion of great storytelling--I especially enjoyed her recently completed: "A Star to Steer Her By..." She did her research into time and place and so imbues her storytelling with the ring of authenic experience. This is a sign of great respect to the characters, herself as an auther and adds an amazing voice to our fanfic genre. ENJOY!
What can I say about The Plummie that hasn't been waxed for years and years now? If you haven't read her yet, it can only be because you haven't been reading fanfic long--she is one of the Grand Dames of fanfic and no mistake. As I begin to update this Recs list I have to add her because 'Castaway' was the very first fanfic I read ever and hooked me fishy flimsy on the line and forever...gotta love The Plummie...

Here is a wonderful writer I am jsut getting to know--she writes in a clear clean way and absolutley busts out a compelling storyline. Sets up a sitch that leaves one breathless and needing more. Gotta read Just Sue.
Her sweet heartfelt prose rings like a bell that will clean the dust off your heart. So far I have just read To Live Again--which has sold me on her skills. To Live Again is Spike/Other but she has a discussion about an aspect of love that needs our attention and so I strongly rec this fic and I'm sure her others are just as fine.
